Job Description:

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Steelwork Apprenticeship Specialist to deliver outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment practices that engage and inspire learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking professional pride in their role and embracing continuous professional development opportunities.
  • Assessing and monitoring learner progress and performance in line with standards and legislative requirements.
  • Coaching employees and learners to reach their full potential through providing key support, mentoring, challenge, and motivation throughout all aspects of their learning journey.
  • Developing learners who are innovative thinkers and creative problem solvers by designing and delivering learning content as part of a blended learning pedagogy focused on delivering vocational excellence.

Requirements:

  • Effective coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Strong and effective interpersonal skills specifically when dealing with welfare, support, and safeguarding issues.
  • Steelworker Qualified with proven experience as a time-served Steelworker.
  • IT Literate.
  • Steelworker qualifications.
  • A1/Assessor qualification.
  • Submarines Experience.
