Continuous Improvement Lead

As a Continuous Improvement Lead at BAE Systems, you will play a crucial role in driving cost management and savings models to impact the Dreadnought programme. You will engage with senior leaders to develop cost improvement strategies and work alongside internal and external consultants to achieve measurable benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver programmes/projects with measurable benefits to the business.
- Assist in developing capability training, coaching, and mentoring for the wider team/programme.
- Ensure viable and sustainable solutions are developed considering process, systems, and people dynamics.
- Build and manage project plans capable of delivering required results in a timely manner.
- Lean six sigma green/black belt/lean practitioner or extensive relevant industry experience.
- Extensive knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies including lean six sigma.
- Degree/HNC or equivalent in STEM-based subject or equivalent, or relevant work-based experience.
- Leadership experience in both project and change management.
- High-level analytical experience.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. You will also receive a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and access to additional benefits such as flexible working and an employee assistance programme.
