Job Title: Academic Support Specialist

A dedicated Learning Support Assistant is required to join our team at a vibrant secondary school in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs, both one-to-one and in groups.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Help students with academic tasks, exam preparation, and building confidence.
  • Promote inclusion and encourage students' independence and self-esteem.
  • Work alongside educational specialists to implement tailored learning strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A patient, supportive, and proactive approach.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
