Pet Reception Specialist

This part-time permanent role as a Pet Reception Specialist involves working Monday - Friday 4:00pm-7:00pm and every other Saturday from 9:00am-2:00pm. The estimated salary for this position is £23,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Job
You will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing the administrative tasks that keep our practice running smoothly. Your ability to multitask and communicate effectively will be essential in ensuring a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. You will schedule appointments, manage the clinic's calendar efficiently, answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, maintain accurate patient records, process payments, and assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed. You will also ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies, and provide support during busy periods by helping with client communications and follow-ups. To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience in a veterinary or animal care environment, preferably in a reception role. Strong organizational skills, excellent verbal communication skills, and proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and record-keeping are also essential. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service are a must.
