The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric physiotherapy, with experience in assessing, treating, and managing children with a variety of conditions. You will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services, including clinical supervision and teaching, and participating in a comprehensive supportive in-service training programme.
Main Responsibilities:- To provide effective and efficient physiotherapy services, including assessing, treating, prioritizing, and delegating the changing workload within the designated area.
- To improve paediatric skills and knowledge by rotating through various specialty areas.
- To be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of own work, including the management of complex patients requiring specialist paediatric physiotherapy intervention.
- To provide effective and efficient physiotherapy interventions in accordance with clinical guidelines and Trust policies and procedures.
- To participate in audit/research to promote quality standards and evidence-based practice.
- To undertake the comprehensive assessment of patients, using investigative and analytical skills, and to plan, implement, and evaluate individualized physiotherapy intervention.
- To keep up to date with clinical and professional issues and undertake training and development activities to maintain competence to practice.
- To participate in the emergency on-call, weekend, and evening service to provide 24-hour cover (involves working unsupervised).
The successful candidate will also be required to participate in the emergency out-of-hours respiratory rota and be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of an evolving and exciting service.

Requirements:- Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy (MCSP)
- HCPC Registration

- Evidence of participation in audit/research projects
- Evidence of Multidisciplinary team working
- Evidence of good communication skills
