Job Summary:

MCG Construction is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of an External Refurbishment project in a live environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction sites, with a focus on external refurbishment projects, including roofing repair and replacement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of construction professionals to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, resource plans, and risk management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including holding a valid CSCS card, First Aid at Work certification, and SMSTS qualification.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on external refurbishment projects, including roofing repair and replacement.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a live environment, with minimal disruption to the client's operations.
  • Valid CSCS card, First Aid at Work certification, and SMSTS qualification.
