Job Summary:

MCG Construction is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of an External Refurbishment project in a live environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction sites, with a focus on external refurbishment projects, including roofing repair and replacement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of construction professionals to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including holding a valid CSCS card and First Aid at Work certification.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, including timelines and milestones.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on external refurbishment projects, including roofing repair and replacement.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Valid CSCS card and First Aid at Work certification.
