About the Role

Norwood's Unity service is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Activity Play Worker. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, caring, fun and welcoming environment for children and young people with neurodevelopmental disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, high energy levels and a good level of physical fitness. They will also demonstrate a desire to make a difference in the lives of our service users.

As an Activity Play Worker, you will be involved in the planning and setting up of activities, including drama, soft play, arts and crafts, cookery, dance, sports, music and outings. You will also assist and/or support children and young people with toileting, eating and drinking when required.

We offer flexible part-time shifts on Sundays and during school holidays, allowing you to balance your work and personal life. Our induction program includes mandatory 4-day training, which will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.

Our salary is £12.50 per hour, and we actively celebrate diversity and welcome applications from candidates from all backgrounds.
