Gastroenterology Specialist

As a key member of our Transformation Unit, we are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Specialist to join our team. This full-time position involves working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and support to our patients.
Job SummaryThis role is responsible for supporting the Gastroenterology & Hepatology service, particularly in ensuring sustainability for out-of-hours working. The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week and will be offered a 10 PA contract.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Gastroenterology & Hepatology service in ensuring sustainability for out-of-hours working
- Develop a 7-day in-patient service and facilitate the 18-week referral to treatment target for outpatients
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and support to patients
We are looking for a highly skilled professional who has:
- Mb ChB or equivalent qualification
- Experience in General (Internal) medicine
- Interest in teaching and the ability to demonstrate the use of clinical audits within the service
- Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR)
The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust offers a competitive salary range of £105,504 - £139,882 pa and a comprehensive benefits package.
