Job Title: Teaching Assistant for SEND Pupil

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support a child with Attachment Disorder on a full-time basis. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting the child's engagement in lessons and academic progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the child with Attachment Disorder in a full-time capacity
  • Work with the child to increase their engagement in lessons and academic progression
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Provide emotional support and stability to the child
  • Communicate effectively with parents and teaching staff to ensure a cohesive approach

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Desirable: NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification and a grade C or above in Maths and English at GCSE level
