Job Summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Courtesy Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our store staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing product information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping and cleaning the sales floor, collecting shopping carts, and restocking shelves.
  • Process customer transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other store staff to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
