About the Role:
Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers, and contributing to the overall success of our store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing product information.
- Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
- Restock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and perform other tasks as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Participate in visual merchandising, including setting up displays and maintaining store appearance.
- Meet or exceed sales and customer service performance metrics.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
