Stores Operations Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Stores team as a Trainee Stores Operator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Stores department, including receiving deliveries, checking goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving and checking deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality
- Liaise with the Purchasing team to resolve any discrepancies in stock
- Maintain detailed records of stock levels and process requisitions in a timely manner
- Update inventory management systems regularly to ensure accurate tracking and lot traceability
- Pick goods in line with shopfloor requirements to meet customer demands
- Organize the collection and despatch of goods through our 3rd party software
- Ensure all goods are stored in appropriate environmental conditions to maintain their quality
Requirements
- Proficient user of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
- Minimum 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
