Stores Operations Assistant

About the Role
Filtronic PLC, a world leader in microwave and millimetre wave electronics, seeks an enthusiastic individual to join its Stores team. As a key member of the team, you will be trained and mentored to become familiar and competent with all functions relating to the operations of the Stores department.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving deliveries and checking goods received
- Liaising with Purchasing regarding deliveries and stock discrepancies
- Keeping detailed records of shortages and processing requisitions
- Updating inventory management systems and maintaining lot traceability
- Picking goods in line with shopfloor requirements
- Organising collection and despatch of goods through 3rd party software
- Ensuring goods are stored in appropriate environmental conditions
Requirements
- Proficient user of Microsoft packages, especially Excel
- Confident communicator
- Willingness to learn
- Positive attitude
- Minimum 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
