Stores Operations Assistant

About the Role
Filtronic PLC, a world leader in microwave and millimetre wave electronics, seeks a motivated individual to join its Stores team. As a key member of the team, you will be trained and mentored to become familiar and competent with all functions relating to the operations of the Stores department.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Liaise with Purchasing to resolve discrepancies and maintain efficient stock management.
- Update inventory management systems regularly, ensuring full lot traceability.
- Pick goods in line with shopfloor requirements, ensuring timely delivery.
- Organise collection and despatch of goods through 3rd party software.
- Ensure all goods are stored in appropriate environmental conditions.
Requirements
- Proficient user of Microsoft packages, especially Excel.
- Confident communicator with a positive attitude.
- Minimum 4 GCSE's (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
