Senior Planning Engineer Opportunity

Eden Scott is partnering with a leading oil and gas company to find a Senior Planning Engineer to play a key role in a carbon capture project.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team at the forefront of innovation in carbon management and contribute to shaping the future of energy in the North Sea region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate activities on UK projects and tenders
  • Develop and improve planning department systems, procedures, and junior personnel
  • Ensure systems, processes, and reporting requirements are in place and adhered to
  • Supervise and mentor planning engineers and technicians
  • Monitor department output and manage workload to achieve deadlines
  • Develop budget, tender, and project schedules
  • Interface with client planning personnel
  • Develop project planning reporting packages
  • Monitor and report progress on UK projects and engineering studies
  • Maintain comprehensive records of project planning documentation
Requirements:
  • Experience in planning and coordination of projects and tenders
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Ability to develop and improve planning systems and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
