This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team at the forefront of innovation in carbon management, shaping the future of energy in the North Sea region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead planning activities on UK projects and tenders, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Develop and improve the planning department, its systems, procedures, and junior personnel, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain systems, processes, and reporting requirements for internal and external clients, aligning with the UK Planning procedure.
  • Supervise and coordinate the workload of the department, mentoring and assisting planning engineers and technicians.
  • Monitor department output, managing workload to meet deadlines and ensuring quality standards.
  • Develop budget, tender, and project schedules, interfacing with client planning personnel.
  • Prepare project planning reporting packages for internal and external purposes, monitoring and reporting progress on UK projects and engineering studies.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of project planning documentation, including contract control schedules, detailed offshore schedules, and project change registers.
  • Develop and update vessel norms, identifying areas for improvement and informing the UKBU Operations Planning Engineer of changes to project notification windows and project LDs.
  • Issue project managers with project close-out pro-formas to ensure feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Support the UKBU business planning function and corporate-led initiatives.
