Senior Planning and Scheduling Engineer

Petrofac is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join their team in Aberdeen, UK. This is a contractor position for 12 months outside IR35, and we invite Limited Companies to engage.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking all planning activities on the project, working with limited direct supervision and within agreed schedules and budgets. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring timely deliveries and keeping the project on schedule.
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies and deviations from the original proposal/contract, raising technical queries with projects/client as needed.
- Analyzing project data and communicating project performance to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Preparing project reporting for engineers, construction planning, schedule risk analysis, progress, and corrective actions, as well as critical path analysis.
- Collaborating with Project Controls Engineer and Project Management to resolve high-profile issues.
- Presenting schedule control methodologies and procedures to project teams and clients.
The ideal candidate will have excellent planning and coordination skills, with the ability to analyze project data and communicate effectively with stakeholders. They will also be capable of resolving high-profile issues and working collaboratively with the project team.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Relevant qualifications in planning, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project planning and execution, with a strong understanding of scheduling and coordination principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to analyze data and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve high-profile issues and work collaboratively with the project team.
