Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

Amazon Operations is at the heart of the Amazon customer experience. We have a vast network of Fulfillment Centers, Delivery Stations, and thousands of employees working together to deliver the right item to the right person at the right time.

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team. The focus of this role is to ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to, conduct preventative maintenance on time to a high standard, and provide high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in a hands-on manner and demonstrate SME levels of knowledge on all MHE in the building.
  • Coach and mentor technicians on shift.
  • Support the line manager and supervise the shift in their absence.
  • Support continuous improvement of systems in a standard manner across the EU network.
  • Understand OEE and equipment performance metrics.
  • Manage contractors.
Requirements:

Apprentice-trained with HNC, HND, or NVQ level 3. Relevant experience in a technical leadership role, electrical and mechanical disciplines, automation, or material handling equipment environments. Advanced proficiency in verbal and written local language and basic proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a multi-contractor and multi-site environment. Understanding of PLC-based controls systems and statutory compliance requirements. Experience using computerized maintenance management systems to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks. A degree in a technical discipline, operations, or business administration.
