About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at Direct Line Group Auto Services in Wakefield. As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within site guidelines to ensure the workflow of job cards meets volume targets and identify fast track repairs.
  • Review repair methodologies to ensure all repairs are cost-effective.
  • Collaborate with policyholders and Direct Line Group engineering functions for borderline repairable or beyond economical repair vehicles.
  • Provide service level agreements, ensuring customers are contacted regarding repairs and non-related damage.
  • Ensure Health and Safety regulations and company procedures are followed.
  • Achieve and maintain standard methodology and lean activities as instructed by business strategy.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of vehicle repair methods.
  • Thatcham repair methods, Audatex, and ATA qualification.
  • Ability to achieve company and personal targets.
