SEN Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Sunderland. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children who require additional support, and you will be part of a dedicated team that provides high-quality education and care.
The role involves providing general classroom assistance, supporting the teacher in delivering lessons, and working with students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/ASD, ADHD, and other special educational needs. If you have experience working with challenging behaviour and are confident in handling complex situations, this could be the perfect job for you.
You will be responsible for encouraging pupils' confidence, learning, and development, as well as providing one-to-one support and helping with group activities.
