Job Title: Learning and Development Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Advisor to join our Organisational Development & Learning Team within NHS Dumfries and Galloway Board. This is a permanent role (30 hours) offering the successful candidate the opportunity to support the growing needs and develop the service.

This role is part of a wider team including Learning and Development, OD, Wellbeing and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. The focus of the successful candidate will be in the Learning and Development function. This position is hybrid, with the ability to work from home and office, although given the nature of the deliverables, there will be a requirement to be on-site at times.

We are looking for someone who can support the Organisational Learning Advisor and Digital Learning Designer within Learning and Development to research, design and deliver engaging learning and development interventions for a range of different staff groups across NHS Dumfries and Galloway.

This individual will have the ability to not only design and facilitate events online and in person but also design digital learning experiences, using digital learning software. We want digital learning to be engaging, using videos, gamification and bite-sized learning that can be delivered just in time.

As well as delivering learning interventions, the Learning and Development Team also manages our staff experience engagement within NHS Dumfries and Galloway. Good project management, communications and reporting skills will be needed.

We positively support applications from people in all our communities. We particularly encourage and welcome applications from LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, Black people, Asian people and people from other minority communities.

We will be looking to interview on a date to be confirmed. Informal enquires are welcome, please contact - louise.hitchings@nhs.scot
