Job Role: Workshop Forklift Engineer

Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00 + Overtime @ 1.5X

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Our client, a leading provider of materials handling equipment, is seeking a skilled Workshop Forklift Engineer to join their team at their Wellingborough site. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing forklifts and plant machinery, working with other engineers to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working on engines, batteries, pneumatics, and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.

• Collaborating with other engineers to maintain and repair forklifts and plant machinery.

• Previous experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities, is essential.

• Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience is advantageous.

• Previous experience working in the Forklift, Plant, HGV, and/or Agricultural industries is advantageous.

• Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering, are advantageous.
