About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team at Sophie Bell & Associates. As a Chemotherapy Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with long-term conditions, rare diseases, and cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer a range of haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments, as defined in the patient's care plan
- Sustain professional standards and be an ambassador for delivering patient-focused care
- Offer quality nursing that is tailored to the patients' needs
- Document all clinical data and report adverse drug events via the correct protocol
- Build long-lasting relationships with patients, carers, and stakeholders to aid and support treatment and recovery
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and demonstrate it, ensuring any gaps in clinical competency are addressed, while staying compliant with all business policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Qualified in administering Cytotoxic drugs
- Ability to cannulate
- Experience undertaking clinical assessments
- Full UK driving licence (essential for regional travel)
