Unit Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Unit Manager to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our catering and service teams, ensuring that we deliver exceptional food and customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of culinary and service staff to ensure seamless delivery of food and service
  • Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit catering operations, including inventory management, budgeting, and implementing action plans
  • Represent Compass Group UK & Ireland and maintain a positive brand image
  • Identify opportunities for new food or service concepts to drive sales and growth
  • Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction
  • Support and train staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles
  • Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of catering experience
  • NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2
  • Basic Food Hygiene certificate
  • Excellent financial acumen and ability to manage budgets
  • Passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
