The Head of Practice is a senior role with both functional and business responsibilities.

  • Proven ability to establish and maintain credibility with senior stakeholders (including clients, delivery partners, and internally within the business), excellent influencing skills to build and maintain relationships and work collaboratively, driving process improvement and success.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, leadership, team building, decision-making, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, and listen to ideas and understand the information presented verbally or in writing.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills at both a strategic and operational level to deliver work to agreed timescales and standards.
  • Experience of managing large teams, providing coaching and excellent line management and support to direct reports.
  • Excellent self-management skills to work independently, using own initiative and being flexible and adaptable.
  • Understanding and experience of performance monitoring and reporting on the impact of activities.
  • Oversee and implement workforce management plans, ensuring that resource capacity and skills are aligned to defined business need and forecast demand.
  • Foster a culture of high performance and excellence.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to team members as consulting activities are carried out.
