Job Summary

WestRock is seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for developing electrical designs and controls for new and existing equipment, ensuring seamless integration into the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical controls for new and existing equipment
  • Develop and document software programs to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Assist in the testing of machines to ensure they meet customer requirements and company standards
  • Produce and manage bills of materials for new projects, ensuring they meet customer and company specifications
  • Provide full support across the business to meet company objectives and direct customer solutions

Requirements

  • PLC experience on multiple platforms
  • Robotics experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Effective Communication skills, influencing and persuasive skills
  • Understanding of electromechanical design for manufacture and assembly using CAD systems
