Heart of House Porter Role Overview

At Raffles London at the OWO, we are seeking an exceptional Heart of House Porter to join our Food & Beverage Department. This is an exciting opportunity to provide support to our various food and beverage outlets and front of office.

As a Heart of House Porter, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining crockery, glassware, and cutlery
  • Managing stock of items related to the back of house
  • Organizing the back of house stores to a high standard
  • Managing waste disposal and recycling
  • Organizing and cleaning the loading bay
  • Distributing deliveries to the correct areas


Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of providing high levels of service under pressure. You should have exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken, and be willing to contribute to a 24-hour operational schedule when required. Additionally, you should have good etiquette and presentation, and a good understanding of working in a department that provides assistance to multiple outlets. You should also have knowledge of health and safety, food safety, and COSHH.
