Data and Analytics Leader

We are seeking an experienced Data and Analytics Leader to join our team at Eames Consulting. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data and analytics strategy that aligns with our business objectives and drives innovation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, analytics, and data engineering, with hands-on experience in machine learning, AI, and big data technologies. They will also have a deep understanding of the reinsurance or financial services industry, with the ability to align data strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Data Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive data and analytics strategy that aligns with our business objectives and drives innovation.
  • Lead Data Team: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence.
  • Advanced Analytics: Oversee the design and implementation of advanced analytics models, including predictive modelling, machine learning, and AI, to deliver actionable insights across the organization.
  • Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Business Partnership: Work closely with senior leadership, underwriting, risk management, and other key stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions that support decision-making.
  • Technology Integration: Guide the selection and integration of cutting-edge data technologies and platforms to support our analytics capabilities.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of data initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Risk Assessment: Leverage data to enhance risk assessment models and support the development of innovative reinsurance products.
  • Client Insights: Utilize data analytics to generate insights that improve client engagement and support the development of tailored reinsurance solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data and analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the insurance or reinsurance industry.
  • Strong background in data science, analytics, and data engineering, with hands-on experience in machine learning, AI, and big data technologies.
  • Deep understanding of the reinsurance or financial services industry, with the ability to align data strategies with business goals.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations, compliance, and industry standards.
