As a Band 6 Clinical Educator, you will play a key role in developing and overseeing an acute medicine educational programme for a range of staff. This includes developing processes to support staff practice, ensuring staff are competent in all aspects of acute medicine, and implementing recording systems to indicate progress. You will also support Ward Managers in ensuring compliance with Trust mandatory training requirements for all grades of nursing staff. With your experience and expertise, you will seek opportunities to develop clinical practice and support the writing of clinical guidelines to support advanced nursing practices within the Acute Medical Unit. Your contribution will be invaluable in ensuring a high standard of evidence-based nursing practice through clinical audit and research activities.
