Endeavour Recruitment Solutions has an outstanding new opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Solutions Architect to work in Southampton, specialising in delivering IT technology solutions. The selected candidate is expected to have excellent SQL Server T-SQL programming skills and be highly organised to work with our client.

This is a permanent position with a salary of up to £45,000, depending on experience. We are looking for a professional who can design, build, and maintain efficient code, deliver high-quality software within agreed timescales, and collaborate with the team to prepare designs and estimates.

To succeed in this role, you will need to investigate software/system faults, devise solutions, and participate in Agile-based meetings to ensure iterations are well defined, planned, and delivered. Additionally, you will take responsibility for your own learning and ensure rapid uptake of familiarity with the system.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Solutions Architect to join our team in Southampton. As a Business Intelligence Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient code, delivering high-quality software within agreed timescales, and collaborating with the team to prepare designs and estimates.

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent SQL Server T-SQL programming skills, stored procedures, CTEs, window functions, dynamic SQL, and knowledge of SQL injection vulnerabilities.
  • SQL Server experience ideally 2017.
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
  • SQL Server database performance and SQL tuning.
  • Experience in handling large databases.
  • Knowledge of column store indexes.
  • Very good SSRS skills.
  • Data warehouse experience, design of data marts, star schemas, and type 2 slowly changing dimensions.
  • Data analysis skills.

Salary: Up to £45,000 per year, depending on experience.
