About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at London Gatwick Airport. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles to strict company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine safety inspections and rectify defects identified during inspections.
  • Attend to vehicle breakdowns as requested by the Fleet/Engineering Manager or Supervisor.
  • Complete job cards, safety inspections sheets, and drivers' defect reports accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure the workshop remains clean and tidy at all times.
  • Comply with company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • Desirable: PCV/HGV Licence, relevant City & Guilds qualifications, and excellent diagnostic skills.
  • Previous experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills.
