About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join our Children's Residential Team. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to our young people, while also leading a team of support workers to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a team in residential care, with a strong understanding of the needs of children and young people. You will be responsible for implementing the Statement of Purpose, working closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home.

As a Team Leader, you will be required to work on a rota basis, including sleep ins, and will be expected to meet the needs of our young people in line with OFSTED regulations. You will also be responsible for supervising support workers, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of support workers to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained
  • Implement the Statement of Purpose, working closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager
  • Work on a rota basis, including sleep ins
  • Meet the needs of our young people in line with OFSTED regulations
  • Supervise support workers, providing guidance and support
