Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at a children's residential provider in Newark on Trent. The successful candidate will work with a team to provide a safe and supportive environment for children and young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties, as well as complex trauma needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children and young people with their daily needs, including personal care and education
  • Work with the therapeutic team to develop and implement individual care plans
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to thrive
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children and young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties
  • Level 3 or above in Children and Young People's Workforce or willingness to work towards this
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide a high level of care and support
  • Flexibility with shifts and ability to work on a 2 on 4 off basis
  • 22 years old or over
