Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SEND Advisory Tutor to join our Additional Learning Support Team (ALS). The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and reviewing support for learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across all campuses and venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver additional learning support covering various disciplines, including English, Maths, ESOL, SLDD, SpLD, MLD, etc., for individuals and groups of learners.
  • Work closely with young adults with additional needs, set targets, and record progress.
  • Maintain expertise in working within Education and Health Care Plan guidelines and utilize the RARPA quality assured process.
Requirements
  • Possess a specialist qualification for teaching students with learning difficulties or disabilities, or a postgraduate Qualification in Individual Specialist Assessment/SPLD Level 7.
  • Hold a full teaching qualification or professional recognition in learning and skills.

    About the Role
