Advanced MRI Diagnostic Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MRI Radiographer to join our team, who can contribute to the delivery of these services and provide excellent care to our patients.
About the RoleThis position involves working as part of a team primarily within the MRI department at the base site, with regular rotation between Buckland Hospital's MRI department. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and the ability to motivate and encourage staff. They will be required to train and supervise junior members of staff, students, and other trainees visiting the department.
The post holder will also be responsible for performing a range of MRI procedures, including complex clinical cases, managing patient priority as appropriate, and contributing towards the effective and responsive delivery of MRI services to patients. This role requires the ability to work without direct supervision or support in out-of-hours services and to operate on a mobile/relocatable scanner as necessary.
Requirements- BSc Radiography or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the relevant body
- Trust/National Cannulation and Venepuncture qualifications
- MSc in Radiography or specialized area
- Willingness to undertake post-graduate study in MRI or other external courses as appropriate for the post
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the trust offers a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave entitlement.
