Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to support our Latin America operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accounting processes, reconciliations, and reports for two business units.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support and review accounting transactions for Latin America business units.
- Prepare accounting journal entries, reconciliations, and calculations for accruals, fixed assets, and depreciation.
- Explain financial variations to the team leader.
- Communicate with local accounting firms.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Support the accounting process with additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- 2 years of experience as an analyst or general accounting specialist in transnational companies.
- Working experience servicing multiple countries.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Service-oriented attitude.
- Proactive approach.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Teamwork skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle desirable).
- Spreadsheet skills.
- Analytical thinking and skills.
