Care Assistant Opportunity in Cramlington

UKCIL Ltd is seeking two experienced Personal Care Assistants to provide high-quality, around-the-clock 24hr support to a client in Cramlington. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year experience in providing physical care and be able to work independently with a quick learner mentality.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing medical and personal care, cooking nutritious meals, and supporting the client's social life. This includes accompanying the client to events such as cinema trips, live music concerts, and theatre performances in Newcastle. Additionally, the candidate will support the client's academic progress, aiming to become a primary school teacher.

We are looking for individuals who possess boundless energy, a bright and bubbly personality, and meet the necessary criteria. A stable and comfortable living situation is essential, as the client has a life-threatening allergy that requires careful consideration.

The estimated salary for this role is £16.41 per hour, working 24 hours a week with set shifts on Fridays (08:00-20:00) and Sundays (20:00-08:00). In addition to a competitive hourly rate, the successful candidates will receive comprehensive training in areas such as safeguarding adults/children, moving and handling, food hygiene, and first aid.
