Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to lead our on-site front of house team at Exeter School. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring smooth service and high standards of hygiene.
  • Lead, train, and motivate café staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage stock levels, including ordering and inventory control, to minimize waste and enhance profitability.
  • Develop and update the café menu in collaboration with team members to incorporate seasonal ingredients and student preferences.
  • Maintain strong communication with school staff, students, and parents to foster a community-focused café environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a café or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Passion for customer service and a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and school holidays as needed.
