Join Our Team as a Locum Consultant in Palliative Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Locum Consultant in Palliative Medicine to join our team at Princess Alice Hospice. As a key member of our medical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

About the Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for providing medical leadership and expertise to our In-Patient Unit, Wellbeing Centre, and Hospice at Home services. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with our multi-professional team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical leadership and expertise to our In-Patient Unit, Wellbeing Centre, and Hospice at Home services
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multi-professional team
  • Contribute to the development of our clinical services, including teaching, audit, and research
  • Participate in our weekly rolling programme of continuous professional development and journal clubs
