Aftersales Technician Assistant

About the Role

We are recruiting for an Aftersales Technician on a permanent basis in Telford. Salary will be dependent on experience.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Evaluate daily work availability for the production team.
  • Support Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) objectives by promoting and adhering to company policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader to manage department activities.
  • Assume the role of Team Leader in their absence.
  • Participate in quality control assessments with team members.
  • Identify and assist with training requirements for optimal performance.
  • Engage in 5S/HSE audits to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Provide feedback on team performance to enhance productivity.
  • Implement real-time scheduling on our system.
  • Optimize color changes for efficient production.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • The ability to work effectively within a team is essential.
  • Previous experience working with painted parts is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail for identifying issues is necessary.
  • Familiarity with the SAP system is desirable.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working with rolling mills and paint lines would be beneficial.
  • Power Press and Slinging/Crane Certificates would be advantageous.
