**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing and Sales Manager to join our Communications and Marketing team at Newark and Sherwood District Council.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the marketing efforts of our Heritage and Cultural services, as well as our commercial services such as weddings and garden waste collection. You'll be responsible for managing a small team and setting and meeting ambitious sales targets.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies
  • Manage a small team to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns
  • Oversee the marketing of our Heritage and Cultural services, as well as commercial services
  • Set and meet ambitious sales targets using your initiative

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in marketing or a related field
  • Proven experience in marketing and sales management
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
