Job Overview
Sunderland Royal Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Support Officer to join our Integrated Investigations Unit. As an Administrative Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the clinical team within the IIU department and providing cover as part of the wider theatres administrative team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Taking telephone calls and responding to queries in a professional manner.
  • Booking appointments and managing patient records.
  • Cashing up clinics and preparing clinical correspondence.
  • Providing reception cover and supporting the provision of an efficient and effective service to patients and staff.

Requirements:
This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work flexibly in line with the needs of the service. You must have basic numeracy and literacy skills to Level 1 or equivalent and be educated to GCSE standard (Grade C or above) or equivalent. Experience of working with the public, reception work, and administration is also essential.

Salary and Benefits:
