Join Our Team as a Senior Clinical Governance Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Medical Director portfolio of heading the Clinical Effectiveness department. This is a senior and integral role in the organisation directly line managed by the Medical Director.

Main Duties:

  • Undertake a key leadership role within the organisation, being visible and working closely with senior clinical leaders, managers and frontline staff in ward and team settings to develop and influence high quality care for patients.
  • Provide robust and contemporaneous evidence for external scrutiny and assessments relating to clinical effectiveness, including those required by Commissioners and the Care Quality Commission.
  • Lead and coordinate the annual Trust Quality Account (Quality Report) meeting national specification for format, content and external assurance.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The trust promotes flexible and home working, and the department has a base in Sunderland Royal Hospital and Palmers Community Hospital.
