Company Overview
Brook Street Recruitment is working with our client in the North of Ireland to recruit a new full-time and permanent Sales Development Manager for the media sector.
This exciting opportunity involves generating leads and sales within the company's portfolio of publications and events.
Sales Development Manager Role
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work closely with our sales team to identify new business opportunities, develop relationships with key decision-makers, and negotiate deals.
The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales and be able to attend events to network and build industry and customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage and sell advertising and exhibition across the company portfolio of publications and events.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers.
- Drive new business opportunities, identifying leads in the market and negotiating new deals.
- Conduct account management duties, including renewals.
- A genuine drive and hunger to achieve targets.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Good telephone manner and computer skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level and will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in media/B2B sales.
Salary and Benefits
The position offers an attractive salary scale of £24-28k per annum, plus annual pay review, 25 days' leave, 10 statutory holidays, company pension, free car parking, smartphone, laptop, and business working hours.
Requirements
The role requires access to own transport and a willingness to work across all aspects of the business. For this position, we require a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as part of a team.
