The Role:

As the Deputy Care Home Manager, you will lead and support the care team, ensuring the delivery of outstanding care. You will work closely with the Home Manager to develop and implement care plans, build strong relationships with residents and their families, and promote ownership of care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage care staff to deliver outstanding care
  • Assist with pre-admission assessments and ensure care plans are up to date and accurate
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to CQC standards
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with external care professionals, families, and visitors
  • Promote ownership of care plans and involve residents and their families in creating, agreeing, and evaluating care programs

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience in a similar setting
  • NMC PIN registration
  • Strong working knowledge of CQC standards
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with staff, families, and external care professionals
  • A compassionate, proactive approach to care management
