Fine Art Warehouse Packer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fine Art Warehouse Packer to join our team at Red Recruit. As a Fine Art Warehouse Packer, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently packing and crating artworks of various sizes and mediums.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inspect artworks to determine the best packing and handling methods
  • Liaise with warehouse operators, art handlers, and logistics staff to ensure efficient workflow and on-time deliveries
  • Handle paperwork, including bills of lading, labelling, timesheets, and detailed condition reports with photos
  • Maintain accurate records of packed artworks, ensuring proper labelling and documentation
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized to ensure the safety of stored artworks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in art handling, fine art packaging, or related fields is preferred
  • Knowledge of art packing materials, techniques, and best practices
  • Good physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
