Job Title: Fine Art Technician

We are seeking a skilled Fine Art Technician to join our team at Red Recruit. As a Fine Art Technician, you will be responsible for packing and securely loading fine art into trucks, ensuring safe transport.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Pack artwork using appropriate materials and techniques to prevent damage during transit.
  • Operate a variety of lifting equipment to safely handle artwork.
  • Drive company vehicles, transporting fine art to various locations, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Liaise with clients, curators, and team members to coordinate transportation logistics and address special handling requirements.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, including inventory lists, condition reports, and shipping documentation.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and best practices when handling, packing, and transporting artwork.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Fine Art packing, handling, transporting, and installing, or experience within the Removals industry.
  • Valid driver's license, good physical fitness, and ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed.
