About the Role:

As a Care Professional with Home Instead Charnwood, you will play a vital role in supporting older adults in your community. You'll provide tailored care and companionship, helping clients maintain their independence and live comfortably in their own homes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supporting clients with medication reminders and meal preparation
  • Helping with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in a client's health or wellbeing

Requirements:

  • Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and team members
  • Flexibility and good availability to cover various shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with clients
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
  • Previous experience in a care setting is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
  • Clear communication skills with fluent English and knowledge of the local area
