Job Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Thermal Hydraulic Expert to join our team in the UK. The ideal candidate will possess a degree qualified in an engineering or science related discipline and have experience performing safety analysis calculations using industry computer codes such as GOTHIC, RELAP5, RETRAN, COBRA, VIPRE, etc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building computer models to assess the performance of the plant in design basis and beyond design basis fault conditions. They will also support the development of the Fault Studies and Severe Accidents safety case sections of the Safety Case for submission in the Holtec SMR GDA.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage credibly within and external to the business.

The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
